I just wanted you to know that Oscar and his 2 crew guys are “awesome”. They really know how to make sure that the customer is thoroughly satisfied. They would periodically ask for my input on design and layout and I know that the extra hours that they put in today, will pay dividends in the long run with my overall happiness. They would cut the slate to fit the fountain area, they moved plants that were in the way of the slate, etc. These guys definitely have pride in what they do. As I watched the 3 crew guys through my window, I can assure you that they were always busy and meticulously working on my yard. They even watered my new plantings in the privacy area again (this could save Preferred down the road with not having to replace dead plants). I look forward to seeing them again tomorrow so they can finish the job – they’re just about done. By the way, did I mention that they’re making my yard look “awesome”?? Customers normally don't call or write to say thank you but they sure do call when they are unhappy. Well, with both of us being in the customer service business I know how important it is to say Thank you! for a job well done and the extra mile someone has gone for you. I am referring to David, but we thought our fountain in front was not working properly so I called him to come by and see if it needed to be serviced. When he arrived I didn't know it was him because I didn't see the company truck and he said that he was off for the day but still wanted to run by here and see what needed to be done. Luckily, nothing was wrong except that we didn't have enough water in the fountain; he also adjusted it as it was slightly leaning. He inspected the back water fall just to make sure that it too was working properly and while he was here he watered the plants for us. It's very rare to see that kind of service anymore and I just wanted to recognize him. Again, Thank you! and we have had many customers comment your displays and taken your business number with them. Your crew has been at the house for 1.5 days now so I thought I’d take a moment to give you some mid-project feedback. Quite simply, I really like what is coming together out here. Your crew works hard and clearly has leadership on the ground here – always nice to see. After the ice storm in January ’07 my yard looked like a disaster area because of all the broken tree limbs. The guys from Preferred Tree Care did an amazing clean up for me. They properly cut and sealed the wounds on my trees; cut up firewood and stacked it; cleaned up the limbs; and raked the yard. Great Job. I have had other tree services before come leave branches behind. I had your group do our annual tree pick up in my area and they cleaned every branch plus some. They left my yard looking spectacular. Preferred Tree Care took all the moss from my trees, lifted them, and cut some down to save others from sagging or dying. It looks great. I am very pleased with the overall service that I have received from Preferred Tree Care, especially John Leifester and his crew. John was very good with giving advice and following up with necessary communications. The crew ensured that they did not “over cut” until receiving personal direction from me. I also appreciate that they would not make cuts just because I asked – the best interest of the health of the tree always came first. Lastly and somewhat rare, I am very impressed with the follow up advice, inspections and report. Most companies ‘do the job’ and service stops there.
